Weight Loss Without Exercise

Introduction
Weight is an important aspect of out health and wellbeing. It is also associated with how we view ourselves in public. All of us had suffered from weight related issues. Being overweight and underweight are both equally bad. It causes several medical conditions both mental and physical. As we live in the age of fast food and processed food, being verweight/obesity is currently a matter of great concern to health experts around the world. Also overweight is a social stigma. People who are
overweight get bullied and abused. So there are lots of people trying to lose weight or keep their weight in check. Let me discuss about how we can go about doing that.

Different ways of weight loss/maintenance
As people we are different. So how we want to lose/maintain weight differs from one person to another. Some of us take a healthy diet and exercise route to weight loss. Health experts recommend this way. Then there is weight loss pills and surgical route. Those who do not want to follow a healthy diet and exercise regularly can take weight loss pills. Surgery is usually considered by morbidly obese people because diet, exercise, or pills do not work for them. Also recently there are some
electronic devices for weight loss available in the market. Let me talk about weight loss pills since most of us are allergic to diet and exercise. We want an easy way to lose weight.
Weight loss pills
There are many weight loss pills available in the market. Some of them are safe and effective and some of them are not. The 12 most popular weight loss pills are:
Garcinia Cambogia Extract, Hydroxycut, caffeine, Orlistat (Alli), Raspberry Ketones, Green Coffee Beans Extract, Glucomannan, Meratrim, Green Tea Extracts, Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), Forskolin, and Bitter Orange/ Synephrine. There are also 4 FDA approved drugs, Orlistat, Qsymia, Contrave and Saxenda. Since FDA approved drugs are very safe, I will talk a little bit more about these drugs below:
Orlistat: It works by inhibiting the breakdowns of fat in the abdomen. As result we take less calories. Side effects includes flatulence, frequent bowel movements etc.
Qsymia: This drug works by making us feel full, making food taste less appealing, and burning more calories. Side effects include numbness, dizziness, lack of sleep etc.
Contrave: This drug help people to make long-term behavioral changes so that they can lose weight. It helps restore balance to neurotransmitters in brain and works on both side of the brain to reduce appetite. Side effects include nausea, vomiting, constipation etc.
Saxenda: This drug is administered by injection. It is used to treat obesity. It also works by reducing appetite and more calorie burn. Side effects include nausea, diarrhea and constipation.
Conclusion:
Therefore, I would like to say that pills/drugs are an alternative way to
lose/maintain weight especially for those who do not want to diet and exercise. Results of these drugs will vary from one person to another. Some will achieve more weight loss than others. Also I would suggest consulting a doctor before using these drugs for weight loss/maintenance purposes. These drugs might adversely effect people with certain pre existing medical conditions.
